DATATRONiQ was founded in 2015 on a simple observation: the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) emits massive, continuous data streams from connected machines, but most manufacturers have no practical way to use them. The platform was built to close that gap.

DATATRONiQ is a ready-to-deploy platform for manufacturers that want higher equipment utilization and consistent product quality. It captures machine data through modern sensor and connector technology, then turns those streams into operational signals plant teams can act on. The platform is built for use on the line, not just for an IT lab — analysis runs continuously, automatically, and produces concrete next steps rather than dashboards-for-dashboards.

Industry 4.0 promises smart factories and connected production. DATATRONiQ delivers the working layer underneath: data-driven decisions on the line, predictive control instead of reactive firefighting, and measurable shifts in machine reliability, process efficiency, and product quality. Digital transformation is the start; the analytical layer is where the operating advantage compounds.

With the goal of capturing operational data in real-time and preparing it for immediate use in equipment and process optimization, DATATRONiQ was founded by experts in Big Data and Advanced Analytics.

  • Jürgen Walter

    Jürgen leads product development, long-term innovation, and technology. Before founding DATATRONiQ, he spent years at IBM in Germany and Canada, then in Silicon Valley, before returning to Germany and working with several Berlin startups.

  • Stefan Weingärtner

    Stefan runs operations, sales, marketing, and the data-science work behind the DATATRONiQ platform. He is an internationally recognized expert in data science and predictive analytics with more than two decades of experience applying advanced analytics, automation, data preparation, and visualization to real production problems in manufacturing, telecommunications, e-commerce, and financial services.
